BREXIT BRINGS BONUS TO LUXURY CAR MAKER

In 1985, Charles Baps and Henry Roy opened a luxury car factory in Skegness.

Baps and Roy wanted their logo and branding to bear their initials and name.

However, pedantic Eurocrats in Brussels wouldn’t allow them to do such a simple thing.

As everyone knows, ‘Baps’ are actually called ‘Rolls’ and the Eurocratic dictators forced Charles Baps to Change his name to Charles Rolls.

Also, in order to conform with Eurocratic regulations, Henry Roy had to add the ‘CE’ mark after his name and, therefore, became Henry Royce.

Fortunately, the recent ‘British Exit’ from the European Union means that Rolls and Royce can now revert to being Baps and Roy.
